Hooray for our side!

Support our troops! The Republican-led congress won't. Their plan is to slash veterans benefits by nearly $10 billion in the next 10 years. Michael Moore tells us that only one of the congress people has a son or daughter currently serving in the military. (Sen. Johnson of South Dakota)

By the way, congratulations to Michael Moore on the Oscar, and thanks for making a strong statement against the war in your acceptance speech... I didn't write this one down, but it went something like: "docmentaries are about real life.. isn't it ironic then that we're being led by a fictitious president from a fictitious election into a fictitious war? Shame on you Mr. Bush." ..and he got it all in before the music led him off the stage.
